Mission:	The mission of the Northern Illinois Diabetes Coalition (NIDC) is to reduce morbidity and mortality and enhance the quality of life for people with diabetes.
Work Plan:	Through five operational subcommittees, NIDC will work to implement its goals and objectives. The five sub-committees are: a) Managed Care and Data Collection, b) Community Care, c) Marketing and Public Relations, d) Education, and e) Translating Clinical Research into Practice.
