GOAL: To coordinate the Healthy Community Survey priorities
Objective: In coordinating these priorities, we need
to develop benchmarks to assess progress including planning, implementation,
and timelines.
GOAL: To promote accessible, cost effective and efficient healthcare
Objective: Sponsor a series of community forums on specific
issues
GOAL: To serve as a legislative advocate at the local, state, and federal
levels, for health and community welfare issues
Objective: Work with academic/educational institutions
to establish needed training programs for workers in health care
Objective: Develop, adopt, and advance a focused legislative agenda
for the Rockford area
GOAL: To obtain outside funding to further the mission and objectives
of the council
Objective: Collaborate
in successful grantsmanship efforts to enhance the work of the council
