Members
of the project team have identified 10 barriers: 1) economics;
2) language and culture; 3) geographic; 4)
Medicare/Medicaid; 5) provider limitations;
6) customer service; 7) specialty referral access;
8) education; 9) frail, elderly; and 10)
child care. The team has examined each barrier in detail to define
appropriate interventions. Four focus areas have been defined for follow-up:
Economic Barriers, Medicaid, Customer Service, and Education. |
